Personnel Policies
This class covers UAB wide policies and some procedures.  You will be discussing why the policies where developed, who is covered and how UAB leadership wants you to achieve compliance with the policies.  Questions are encouraged to ensure that there is clear understanding of the policies covered in this class.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS?
Any UAB employee may take this class to ensure understanding of the policies.  All supervisors, managers, and department heads should take this class to ensure compliance with the policies of the employees they lead.

WHAT ARE THE PREREQUSITES?
There are no prerequisites to take this class.

In this class you will learn:

• Why and how UAB policies are created.
• Who is responsible for creating UAB's policies.
• The specifics of several UAB wide policies and how to comply with them.
• Some of the consequences of not complying with various policies.
