Clinical Trials Billing: This class provides details about the UAB process for clinical trial billing. All individuals involved with human subjects research with services provided by UAB Health System are encouraged to attend. The session includes an overview of rules and regulations regarding billing for clinical research in addition to details on UAB’s rate request process, ordering/request processes for clinical services provided for research purposes, and procedures on correctly processing payment from a grant/study account to UAB Hospital or HSF for services rendered. Accurate Effort Reporting: Join us for a session regarding best practices for accurate completion of effort reports. The information provided includes what activities to consider in reporting your effort and solutions to problems with apportioning activities to various sponsored projects.
