Waiting List Information

Because of the demand for high quality childcare, we do have a waiting list that can average 100-125 children at any given time.  If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, please complete and return the completed waiting list application and the $30 nonrefundable application fee per child.

We cannot guarantee you an immediate space.  Our average wait time is 12-18 months.  If we have a space available, we will notify the affiliated parent by the information listed on the waiting list application.  Please contact Shanae Abrams, CDC Manager, with any information updates such as address and contact numbers.  If at any time you wish to wish to remove your children’s name from the waiting list, you must notify us in writing. 

Note:  You must be a UAB employee to access the Child Development Center.

Tours of the UAB Child Development Center
We give tours of our program by appointment only on Thursdays and Fridays between the hours of 9:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. and 2:30p.m. – 4:00p.m.  For security reasons we do not allow drop-in visits until after your initial tour.
