Scale Back Alabama Winners Announced
UAB had 5 winners from the pool of eligible contestants losing a minimum of 10 pounds. SBAL had 50 individuals drawn who won one of 50 achievement prizes of $100 per person.
- Davelyn Daniels-Carter of "Flab-u-less Four" in Jefferson County
- Deborah Hudson of "New Beginnings 2012" in Jefferson County
- Genevieve Harris of "AOC Losers" in Jefferson County
- Grant Martin of "Quatro Shrinko" in Jefferson County
- Susan Ruppert of "Weight Loss for Wellness" in Jefferson County
UAB had 1 winner from the pool of eligible contestants who lost at least one pound. SBAL had five individuals drawn who won one of five prizes of $50 per person.
- Michelle McClure of "Carb Depletors" in Jefferson County
UAB had 9 teams with all 4 members losing 10+ pounds: Beached Wales, Bulge Busters, Diamond Divas, Drop It Like Its Hot, Four Losers, Oncology Oinkers, PFA Oompa Loompa’s, Reducing Revenue Waist, and UAB Eye Care Dreamers.
UAB Employee Wellness held a prize drawing for teams with all 4 members losing 10 pounds, individuals losing 10+ pounds, and individuals losing 5+ pounds. Awards provided by the following groups: Alys Stephens Center, UAB Campus Recreation, UAB Hospital Health Club, UAB Dermatology, UAB EatRight, UAB Hospital Food and Nutrition Services, UAB Athletics, and Zen Yogurt.

- Reduce Revenue Waist: Facial skin care kits from UAB Dermatology
