UAB Walking Trails are available throughout the medical and academic campus as a path for faculty and staff to live healthy and exercise regularly. Employees now have half-mile and mile-long indoor and outdoor walking trails for use at lunch or other times. The UAB Medicine trails are named for the UAB core values: Own It, Always Care, Do Right and Work Together. The UAB Medicine indoor trails are on the second floor of the medical center complex, and the outdoor trails wrap around the buildings. The UAB Highlands indoor and outdoor trails are named for their shapes: Highlands Loop and Highlands Square. The outdoor UAB Academic trail names are inspired by our school spirit: Campus Green, Blazer Walking Trail, and Dragon Walking Trail.
Here you will be able to view and download a map of these trails, as well as a broader UAB Walking Trail map including all of the trails connected.
